Santa Fe, New Mexico
At 7,199 feet (2,194 meters), Santa Fe, New Mexico is the highest state capitol in the United States. This lofty location is a place of amazing natural beauty and “Mecca” for artists of many disciplines. I’ve traveled to Santa Fe several times, initially to attend a session at the Santa Fe Photographic Workshops. I’ve returned for other workshops as well as just to visit and photograph friends I’ve made there during previous visits. It was this city where I began exploring street photography and found it was something I wanted to embrace as part of my photographic work. The below images are compiled from my favorites during my visits to this lovely city.

Marietta, Georgia
Located about 30 minutes north of downtown Atlanta (on a good day), Marietta is one of Atlanta’s largest suburbs. The city contains several historic districts and my favorite is the downtown square. Before moving to Valencia, Carmen and I lived for a few months north of Atlanta very close to Marietta and we made several trips to the square during that time. I only have a handful of images from this charming area but nonetheless I wanted to make sure they get shared.
The images in this collection were shot on a Sony A7rIII with a Samyang 45mm 1.8 lens or a Sony 35mm 1.8 lens. It was shooting in Marietta where I felt I wanted something a little wider than the 45mm for street photography.
