Lisbon, Portugal

In 2019 Carmen and I took a Viking cruise through Portugal, and we started in Lisbon. Street photography for me was something I was just starting to look into at this point, and what keepers I did get kept me looking forward to learning more.

The shots in this small group of images were all shot with a Fujifilm X20 compact camera that I purchased specifically for this trip.

Castellon de la Plana , Spain

This quiet city is located about an hour north of Valencia via train. Despite a population of over 180,000, it has a smaller town feel to it than the numbers would suggest. It has some amazing historic structures and is well worth the trip for the street photographer looking to capture interesting and diverse architecture.

Palma de Mallorca, Spain

The capital city of Mallorca, Palma is a bustling city located in the aptly named Bay of Palma. Along with a huge marina and lots of shopping, there is the amazing cathedral overlooking the bay. It combines modern commercial areas and old city spaces with a little bit of something for everyone.
