One of the “housing challenged” people in the Il Pilar neighborhood collecting metal scraps in her cart. There are several people in the area that I see making their way to the various refuse containers we have on the streets here but this is the first time I have seen her. I hope she has made some good finds that will be useful to her.

Captured during a recent morning walk in the El Carmen neighborhood here in Valencia. Often one will find wet streets like this even though there has been no rain. The reason for this is the street cleaners will come through, spraying their mixture of cleaning chemicals onto the tiles and bricks making up the pathways through the city leaving behind a reflective surface on which everyone walks, drives, and rides.
